Is it worth paying a bit more money for a full structural survey when carrying out due diligence on an apartment ?

The Building Survey is the new name for the Full Structural Survey following its new title a couple of years ago by RICS. Commission the Building Survey for the apartment referred to. The HomeBuyer Report is all you really need for a post 1950s unmodified Treharris property built out of typical building materials.

Wall cracks caused by subsidence

The vendor mentioned subsidence is a problem impacting the house. What subsidence issues does the Chartered Surveyor report on?
