Should we get a RICS Level 2 Survey, RICS Level 3 Survey or Full Structural Survey for a home in Cheadle and which one is cheaper?

The Full Structural Survey has a new name called a RICS Level 3 Survey, although it is basically the same the same.

If the Cheadle property is a flat or maisonette, or is 100 or more years old, or has been structurally modified, or is of non standard construction, RICS advise a cheaper RICS Level 2 Survey.

RICS Level 2 Survey valuation

As well as reporting on condition, will I get a valuation and cost of rebuild estimate (including the cost of rebuilding a boundary wall) and how is it calculated?

The RICS Level 2 Survey includes an impartial valuation and also a reinstatement cost as standard.
