A RICS Level 2 Survey will contain a surveyor valuation and a reinstatement cost as standard. To be able to determine the valuation the valuer will combine area knowledge and other factors relating to the property e.g. style of architecture Surveyors also examine construction methods and will draw upon other assumptions like no contamination in or from ground. Surveyors don't factor in certain things like furnishings, for example curtains.
