Original concrete window sills and aprons have been utilised in this property and retention of these is favoured as they help retain the original character of the Victorian property.
Considering the age of the property they are in reasonable condition but they are cracked and have weathered to a significant degree. The cracks are of a severity that could allow water ingress leading to possible issues with damp.
The sills should be carefully repaired utilising an epoxy mortar as it will last for many years to come and, once painted, return the sills to pristine condition.
Epoxy mortar is ideal for quick and durable repairs and will adhere to most substrates including concrete, masonry, bricks, steel or other similar materials.
The result is an extremely hard wearing finish.
