What does a Property Valuation do?

  • Help you make a reasoned and informed decision as to whether to proceed, reconsider or renegotiate on the purchase;
  • Can help you negotiate a better property price: Where problems are discovered or a lower valuation is given, buyers are enabled to negotiate a lower buying price;
  • Completed by an RICS surveyor: Surveyor Local’s national panel of surveyors are fully qualified and highly experienced chartered surveyors;
  • Provides an independent valuation: Gives you a professional valuation of the property, helping to stop you from paying too much for the property.

Using an RICS surveyor for your valuation

It's important to use someone you can trust. At Surveyor Local, we only work with RICS-qualified, local surveyors, who are experienced in valuing property and are ready to take on new Property Valuations. You can either order a Property Valuation on its own or you can add one to a Building Survey Report. If you order a HomeBuyer Survey, a valuation is included.
